plus exact shipping and insurance cost from Bainbridge Island, Washington. Prices for custom orders are quoted by email on an individual basis, but they start at $130.00.

Custom Orders are accepted depending upon my schedule and availability. For pulled felt hats, Custom orders may be limited by the hat blocks, sizes, and colors available. Email me for availability, deadlines, details, and price quotes. I will send you a quick order form to fill out, with the details and your desired shipping date. Do not assume that a custom order has been accepted until you receive an email from me confirming my commitment to meet your deadline. I have not missed a committed deadline yet, and I don't intend to start now.

Undecorated Hats: I don't sell unfinished/undecorated hats. A significant portion of my art is in the finish work, and I want to make certain that anything with my name on it arrives in your hands as something I am proud to have made, and that I consider to be complete. You may request a simple decor, and disassemble the hat and redecorate it yourself, but I won't send hats out into the world "undressed". I get about one request like this per month, so I thought I should mention it here.

Payment Policy: Full payment, including shipping cost, is not required until the hat is completed and ready to mail. Please don't pay me early unless I specifically request that you do so (maybe for something I have to order a really specific blank for?) Paypal is preferred, but checks or money orders are also accepted. Do not send cash by mail.

Return Policy: Whether On-the-Shelf or custom made, if you receive your hat and you are unsatisfied, contact me within ten days of receipt and you may return the hat. If the hat is returned in resellable, unworn condition, your payment will be refunded. (You are responsible for the cost of only the return shipment). Exception: No returns on custom orders that cannot be easily resold, for example, a green and purple hat with red Pom-Poms around the brim. If you order something that "custom", you own it when it arrives. You will be informed at the time of the order if returns will not be allowed.

Shipping: All items are shipped USPS Priority mail unless you request otherwise. I will ship internationally, but I will not mark the item as a gift. My shipping boxes are 12X12X12”, making them fall just inside the allowable dimensions for “package” rather than “large package”. Domestic shipping and insurance for a single hat is usually around $11-$12. (Cavalier hats are more - just because of box size. I don't charge you for the box or the packing of the box.
